HCRMA Breaks ground on 365 Tollway Phase II

The Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority officially broke ground on Phase II of the SH
365 Tollway on June 12, 2022, marking an important milestone in a project that represents
the first tollway in Hidalgo County. The project is designed to improve roadway safety,
enhance international trade routes, and separate overweight truck traffic from passenger
vehicles. As construction progresses, the SH 365 Tollway moves closer to providing faster,
safer, and more efficient travel throughout the region.

HCRMA Presents at ASCE Lunch and Learn

The Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority provided project updates and highlighted
upcoming initiatives during a presentation to the American Society of Civil Engineers Rio
Grande Valley Branch. Chief Construction Engineer Ramon Navarro shared key updates on
the 365 Tollway construction, including significant milestones achieved to date. These
presentations help keep local engineers informed about ongoing transportation projects
and provide valuable insights and knowledge related to the transportation field.

HCRMA Receives TSPE Engineering Organization of the Year

The Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority has been recognized as the 2024
Outstanding Engineering Organization of the Year by the Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the
Texas Society of Professional Engineers. This honor highlights HCRMA’s commitment to
engineering excellence and its ongoing efforts to deliver innovative transportation solutions
for the region.

HCRMA Attends Pharr Internation Truck Expo.

HCRMA staff were pleased to attend the Pharr International Truck Expo, where they
engaged with a wide range of industry partners and stakeholders. The event provided an
opportunity to discuss HCRMA’s services, exchange insights, and explore potential
collaborations focused on enhancing the efficient and safe transportation of goods and
services throughout the county and the broader region.
